Our Community
Mountain Haven Resort will be a part of a wider community in which all residents are strongly involved and are steadfastly included.
Our aim will be to develop fun, lasting friendships and community engagement abounding across a vibrant ‘club industry atmosphere’.
Families and friends will enjoy an array of social, sporting, volunteering and community activities.
Our priority is to make our Resort Style Village one of the most desirable, happy, friendly retirement village on the SEQ Coast.
Above all, we want to ensure that it is a safe place for those over 55's to enjoy their retirement years.
With around (114) dwellings soon to be under construction our development plan is gathering momentum, and we are expecting to commence construction in January 2026.
Some of our proposed community initiatives are outlined below.
Regular Residents Meetings
Regular Residents Meetings will be held in our clubhouse and weekly . These gatherings are designed to share information about Village matters and events. We will of course encourage Residents to participate and vote on important village operations and budgets.
Weekly Happy Hour
Wednesday’s ‘Happy Hour’ is a wonderful way of winding down. Numbers have increased over time with growing interest. It is a great success with regular attendances by the Residents. Essentially ‘Happy Hour’ is a casual BYO occasion where Residents and Management can enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer. Everyone is encouraged to bring a plate to share.
Monthly Resident Functions
Our wonderful residents host a monthly resident function that brings all our residents together for either a lovely lunch or dinner of all different types.
